I use this as a firewall and it works really well . You just have to make sure you uninstall any third party software firewall you are using and if you have Xp's firewall on to turn it off. Other than that it is easy to program and does a nice job. I also use a hardware firewall as added safety.

Ummm, why purchase a software firewall when Windows XP gives you one for free? I'm not saying that the XP firewall is the best solution but if you're going to spend money for a firewall solution and you're willing to settle for a software firewall, use XP's!
For a better firewall solution, purchase a dedicated firewall device (such as a firewalling router, etc.) and then I'd say it's worth spending the extra $$! Aside from that, save it for other things... like hardware upgrades! Just my 2 cents...
