"What can be done to stop him"
Sounds like it is already too late.

You could ask the police but only if you are very sure of your facts.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

HEUR/QVM10.1.Malware.Gen generally comes bundled with other software. What makes you think this "person" installed it deliberately? How do we know it wasn't YOU who installed it by downloading & installing some sort of online crapware? Just remove it & move on with your life. There are dozens of removal guides available. And get a decent anti-virus/anti-malware program - whatever it is you're using isn't doing its job.

listen here. i do know who the person who put the virus in my pc ok. and it didnt get in my pc because of a lack of protection. The story is too long to mention here. We play on a gaming site and use yahoo messenger to chat. this person is a know hacker, and all he needs is your yahoo I.D to get into a pc and do the damage.Plus even steal your yahoo I.D also. He even admitted that he has.Like I said, there is a lot more to this than I will mention here.
All I asked was to whom I can report this too,as I have 100% proof. And you are completely wrong to think that virus comes bundled with other software.Remember.all it takes for these sickos is just know your yahoo I.D p.s I dont need your smart ass remarks either.

There may be some local regulations covering that but I doubt it

I think you'd first report it to yahoo. Convince them what's going on and I'm sure they can kick him off. Then get a new yahoo ID and don't have any further online association with him.

You say you know where he lives. If it's nearby or at least within driving distance why don't you and some friends pay him a visit?
