i keep on getting an attempt to invade my computer by somebody called DELLBOY. the virus or trojan is WELCHIA ICMP_SCAN. fortuantely it is blocked by NAV but i dont understand why it keeps coming back. this has been going on for about 2 weeks now.

You've really had trouble getting an answer to this one, haven't you?
What you're seeing is a ping scan done by the Welchia worm. Some computer named "dellboy" is infected with this worm, and is pinging you periodically. Probably along with thousands of other computers. Pings and/or scans are generally innocuous. This is nothing to worry about.
