Comment: Somehow I got a hold of a nagging virus. I've seen some threads with people having the same problem. The virus changing their backgrounds to a blue background that says "Warning! Spyware detected" Well, I got rid of the cftmona file that other people were talking about. But I'm having another problem along with that one. If my computer is idle, bugs will be crawling across my screen like they are eating the screen. I'm really frustrated because I have used every anti-virus program I can get a hold of, and none of them are finding any of these viruses/spyware. And every spyware program I get a hold of, will just scan and not remove them. Can anyone help me?

Reply: (edit)do a search for *.scr- there may be one called blackster- delete it. do a search for ctf*.*- you will find some recent files, perhaps ctfmona- it is an exe file- rename it and change the file extension to something else, I used exxx. that should get stop the bugs. good luck

Reply: (edit)Hi, May I ask for some help too ?? I've got infected by the very same virus, cftmona.exe. My motherboard is an ASUS A7V8X-X. I had no more access to the bios setup, and at startup or re-start, I was getting a silly screen in DOS style prompting to get more info, etc.. I downloaded the Bios update from ASUS, mine is now V.1013. This solved the DOS screen & music problem, but I still cannot get to the Bios setup. Any idea ??? Thanks !!! Daniel
