webmail access from behind a router

I have recently installed a Linksys Router (which has a nat firewall) and I am now experiencing problems accessing webmail programs such as hotmail...It is not possible to sent mail, delete or other functions. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You need to check yout NETWORKING setup in NETWORKING at CONTROL PANEL. Also, see if you can ping your own loop back IP. Check if you are using DHCP. Also, verify at ipconfig your IP, subnet mask,gateway. Also, visit your router's SET UP and or UTILITY page from typing 192.168.0.0 in your browser while offline and review the info there that is saved.

Thanks for the reply EC but I'm a little lost on what you mean exactly, The IP & DNS address is obtained automatically from me ISP. The router is set to DHCP active. I can ping the router without a problem. Maybe I should have said in my original message that I don't have any problems accessing the Internet or any other sites, it's just web mail programs don't work properly. I'm not sure if my firewall is blocking port80 or I have also read that IE6 causes problems with web mail. I'm a bit in the dark? Thanks again for any help/info......
