Webcam virus through MSN

My roomate just got a virus through MSN messanger when they were offered what said to be a webcam conversation and they accepted it. It was actually a virus and logs their MSN in and out all day. Can anyone give any advice?

Thanks guys, I think I've got the problem licked. Thanks for the help!!

I just had to run an updated AV program in safe mode and deleted the registry addition.
