Adii, I have the same issue that mahogany has above. Please help me with what I need to do. Background image on desktop reads, "Warning! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer." Immediatley after seeing this I shutdown and logged into safe mode and downloaded webroot spy sweeper and did a scan. it found a bad cookie as far as I could see. Please help. Go to bleepingcomputer.com and find the article about Antivirus2009 & Google on the main page. Follow the directions at the bottom of the article to uninstall Antivirus2009. I downloaded the free malwarebytes software and the bluescreen virus was removed on the first attempt. This is the only solution I've found that worked. No joke. Awall
