We have someone targeting us with a war dialer. Our main switch board gets hit with each line in turn being accessed. So too are our dial in modems. Now even some cell phones. Id is blocked.

Anyone have to deal with this and how did you handle it?

As far as I know, "war dialing" is illegal. You should be able to get the phone company and/or law enforcement to trace it.

yes it is but it comes up id is blocked. I have started in roads with the phone vendor but was wondering if anyone out there who has encounted this wanted to share their experience with this.

It doesn't matter if caller ID is blocked. Caller ID is just a feature for customers. Phone companies have much better ways of tracing calls.
