Speedmaxpc seemed to be a solution but is a bloody scam. It cons you in to downloading - no mention of money, then after you give your details and install the programme does the old trick - does a scan of your PC and exaggerates your problem areas then demands money to fix them.
Give Speedmaxpc a great big miss.

mostly all the scans advertised by registry cleaners to speed up your PC are a scam. They load up with tons of false positives and then request payment for removal.
A great free cleaner to use is Ccleaner Slim (without the yahoo toolbar)
It will clean out all the unneeded trash on your PC as well clean up your registry safely by deleting obsolete entries.

By the way...a registry cleaner will not help remove the Ask like you mentioned in the topic of your post.

If you are in search of a good computer analyzer and cleaner than use "Glary Utilities"
form glary soft available in free and paid both version .

Give it a shot its fastest and effective program according to me and if you want an individual registry cleaner, uninstaller, files undeleter than you can also download them individualy .
