Symantec is telling me that I have the W32.Spybot.Worm. I poked around in the forums, but they were no help. I need help cleaning up my system!

I followed the instructions, but it wasn't any help. Symantec is still picking it up in the scan.

1. disable winsystems16 with task manager
2. remove winsystems16 from startup processes
3. disable system restore
4. delete winsystems16.exe
5. delete winsystems16.exe from system registry entries
6. delete any startup files of size 0 bytes
7. reenable system restore

Try this free on-line scan:

give it time to load and then remove all it finds

If still no joy, do a free online scan:
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie...
That has the ability to remove the infection for free.
