My Symantec anti-virus software alerted me to a virus infection this morning. It said it's location was in the AVG setup file which I had downloaded last week to try and combat a different virus. Somebody else helped me to rid my computer of the first virus (it was a Trojan), but now I have this new problem. This website has helped me in the past with a problem I had on a different computer several months ago so I thought I would try you again. Please let me know what to do .

It's not a good idea to have two resident antivirus programs
running at once so, if there are no other symptoms just delete
the AVG setup file and then do a full scan with Norton.

I uninstalled AVG and ran the Symantec scan and nothing popped up. My computer seems to be running just fine. Thanks for your help.
