This one messed up my laptop good. It went into the "userinit.exe" and "taskmgr.exe". Now I can't even start with the boot disk, not can I boot from the XP cd. All it finds is A: Is there any thing to do about it?
BTW: Death by bleading heamorrhoids to the person who made this virus!
Try Panda's removal tool for Parite B @ http://www.pandasoftware.com/download/utilities/. It has been very successful at repairing your problem. Take care and all the best!
