w32/Pate.b VIRUS

Hey 4 all u out there having problems.
I was infected with this VIRUS little bugger it was.Had no problem when i didint know it was there.Installed McAfee,came across it tried cleaning it through McAfee.couldint get shot of it at first.

to remove this worm u must first:
start up in SAFE MODE ( the less .exe's running)

run regedit (remove the following entry)

HKEY_Current_user\software\microsoft\explorer\PINF

THEN REBOOT SYSTEM in safe mode

now run virus scan software

it is my opinion you should NOW uninstall your virus software and reinstall it and do a check

thats it hope it works for you

I have this virus but i don't know how to get rid of it as you explained How do i start in safe mode etc any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
