I'm having problems ridding my computer of the W32/Netsky.p@MM virus. I use adaware and spybot which don't pick it up. I have run AVG which picks it up as I-Worm/Netsky.Q but can not get rid of it. I have used Stinger which picks it up with the previous name but says file can not be repaired. I tried changing the preferences to 'delete' instead of 'repair' but it still shows up when I run the anti virus. The infected file in

C:\Documents and Settings\....\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\4TUJO1IN\letter32.exe\DETAILS.TXT

However the folder Content.IE5 does not exist in Temporary Internet Files so I cannot delete it manually. I have all my hidden folders showing. Can anyone help me please???

Thanks

Ahhh... but Content.IE5 DOES exist - just very well hidden by Windows...
There's a good chance the file is actually locked, so it may not work well to delete it from windows, but give it a shot...
When you have c:\documents and settings\...\local settings\temporary internet files\ open, type Content.IE5\4TUJO1IN at the end of the address bar (view->toolbars->address bar, if it's not there), then find your file and delete it. Ignore any warnings about it being unsafe to delete a temporary internet file (if they show up).
If that doesn't work.... Post back, or drop me an email if i don't post again right away.
