Comment: Well I think I need some cause Im about ready to shoot me pc lol. I have been reading and trying to remove the look2me and Vx2 garbage, as per the awesome suggestinos that have been listed in this forum however. It seems to me that this seems to be a little bit different on each users machine. I have tried pestpatrol, adaware and sypbot and Norton 2004 and I have hijackthis and kill2me and killbox. So you think I'd be able to scoop this crap and dispose of it. I suspect that Im not doing it correctly cause as rescan I keep finding it aaagh (hands in hair pulling) lol, So if any wouldn't mind I could use a helping hand...Thanks and sorry for the long mesage just frustrated Under Constrution

Reply: (edit)If you delete it but it comes back, you may have a Trojan. Do a free Trojan scan..... http://www.trojanscan.com/trojanscan If these programs find the bugs but can't delete them (which I suspect is the case) run the programs while Windows is in 'safe mode'. To get into safe mode, start the PC and keep tapping the F8 key before Windows splash screen shows. From the options that show, use the keyboard arrow and enter keys to select safe mode. The help screen will also open but you can just close that. Run Spybot etc. To get out of safe mode, just re-start the PC. Post back with your results.

Reply: (edit)I tried everything and was only able to get rid of Look2me by deleting these two dll's in Repair mode: c:\windows\system32\aasldpc(3).dll and c:\windows\system32\aasldpc(3).cpy.dll Good luck!
