Vundo disallowing all forms of boot up

July 24, 2009 at 21:22:45
Specs: Windows XP
Having a problem where Windows XP will not boot in ANY mode. Vundo is expected to be the culprit. Trying all forms of Safe Mode, and even Last Known Good Configuration. Every boot attempt leads to a BSOD with Stop message 0x0000007B.

I've tried everything short of booting the hard drive up as a slave on a different computer, and am starting to think that may be my only option for salvaging this hard drive.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I checked out the website, but when I went to the download link, it just displayed a list of folders. How exactly do i go about making that into an operating disc?

Thanks for the help, jdk. We actually wound up just formatting the drive and installing a fresh XP installation afterward. I do appreciate all the help you offered though.
