Hi.....I have a problem when using Microsoft word. When I open a file...word saves a duplicate file automatically but with for example "w~0005" instead of the original file name - or w~mework (instead of the original homework file name. Is this a virus/worm perhaps or something wrong in my settings!!! Any help very greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts having to delete duplicate files all the time.

I don't think it is a virus, sounds like you have either a corrupted file or it is in some kind of setting. Can you delete the ~copy okay?
