My mouse pointer suddenly stopped working recently. Every time I clicked on something it just stuck there.
I ran a virus check and found a 'Script/Exploit' virus, not sure what that is (I'm using AVG Anti-Virus).
I deleted the infected file but still the mouse pointer sticks. Funny thing is, it only happens when the mouse is connected to the PS/2 port, it works fine in the serial port.
Win98 reports that there isn't a mouse connected to the PS/2 port when there is. I've tried re-installing the mouse drivers but no luck.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
