I did a full re-install of WIN 98 and Win ME and used OSL2000 boot manager to be able to swap OS'es on different partitions. Everything was stable until recently. THe last time the computer was able to boot up, all the keys on the keyboard typed the wrong characters. For example "k" would type "k," and "L" would type "L."; the Delete key would type 2 characters etc etc.
This problem even affected the system bios as the arrow keys all did something entirely different, and the bios parameters as well as the settings were all discombobulated. Upon a re-boot, the OSL2000 requires you to select the active partition and press ENTER. Since none of the keys on my keyboard at that time were able to effectively act as an Enter key, I am not able to boot.
Stranger still is I can't even boot from a floppy start-up disk. I get the invalid system disk error.
One last clue I can give as to when it acted strange when I was last able to boot up was I was online and the Find/search program kept starting in multiple examples. I had to keep closing them down and then when I re-booted the system sound you get when you normally re-boot the little "bong" or "click" that normally only happens once, now repeats that sound which has never happened before.
Problem now is any hard drive I put in my system won;t boot due to the Bios being as it is. Any solution to this possibly?
Thanks.

have u tried to clear the cmos of your motherboard, then try to boot up from ur floppy?
