I have an annoying hack/joke app on my computer that causes the following symptoms on my computer: 1. makes a window pop up that says "pwnd" and "i dont think so" 2. plays a variety of sounds on my computer involuntarily including random laughter, thunder noises, howling, and screeching 3. causes my cd rom drive to open and close randomly 4. causes the window i am currently looking at to flicker and shake back and forth 5. randomly types "i am gay" on my computer over and over again I've tried scanning my computer with spybot, adaware, and a variety of free online malware scanners but so far I've found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified. You can download Hijack This at this link http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ then place it into a folder of it's on, such as C:\HJT, so that back up copies can be made and not clutter your desktop or other folders and the backup copies of deleted items can be easily located if needed. Once saved double click HijackThis.exe, and press "Scan". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents into the text editor at this forum. Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly. Download Ewido Security Suite then set it up this way Ewido Setup Instructions reboot into Safe Mode and run Ewido When the scan has completed, Ewido will create a report.txt file. Click the "Save Report" button on the bottom of the screen and save the log to your desktop in case you need it later. Please reboot into normal mode and post the ewido log and the HT log.

Noob.. wow if i had that right now... it would have already been deleted. its prob just a joke. the first thing i would check is Add/Remove toolbar in My Computer and see if there is anything in the that there isnt supposed 2 be like. UGotPwned.exe or something like that. Or .zip just something. ur friend is probably just trying 2 freak u out. i wouldnt wrry 2 much just if u dont want anything like this 2 happen again i sujest u going and buying a virus protecter cuz those free 1's dont help. they are what give u viruses in the first place. not all but most. I recommend Norton Anti-virus. Out of all the virus protecters ive had this is the best. It might cost 70$ but its worth buying a brand new comp. Also download ZoneAlarm. its like a firewall so if some1 is trying 2 steal or send u stuff. u will know right away who its from whats there ip and all that stuff. and it detects if u would like 2 accept the file or not. These 2 are very good for ur computer. And finnaly i reccomend StopZilla. dont get the free trial get the Free download. This really really helps. if u would like 2 keep ur computer safe from all these joke hackers and viruses do what i have told u.
