There is a problem with my friends PC.Whenever he opens any application Winzip starts running. Similarly in another friends PC Word 2000 starts running. Are these PCs infected with virus? Whats the solution for this problem?

Thanx but do u think its gonna work because as I said whatever application he opens only winzip runs. How do I know that which virus is this? Only then I can think of doing something. Then that PC is not connected to the internet. That virus probably came from the floppy disk.

You dont mention what verion of windows you are running. This sounds like someone playing a practical joke on you. It sounds like a simple batch file running. Do you remember the one that made your CD tray open?? same sort of thing.
Do this. When winZip opens hit alt+control+delete one time. Look to see what is running. You will most likely see the application that is causing your headaches. Quit this application. then do a search for it and delete it. If it was loaded from floppy you may need to do it from the command line.
