Hi Everybody.
I recently got the W32.Kwbot.C.Worm Virus from Kazaa. My Norton AV 2002 caught it right away but couldn't delete it. I read the summary on Symantec's site so i restarted my pc in safe mode, did a virus scan and then quarentied the infected file, then deleted it. Then I checked all the registry entries that Symantec instructed me to, but none of the values/entries that they were talking about are there. No files that they say the virus creates are in my registry where they say. Does that mean everything is good then?
I never clicked/opened the file that was infected and i never restarted my pc until i went into safe mode, does this make a difference? Was I not infected at all yet?
Your advice would be very helpful. Thank you very much.

Sounds like you are ok, but since you are running WinXp you should shut down System Restore and run another scan with Norton. If all is good, then restart System Restore. (Virus files can hide in SR and no AV can clean them there.
