Virus trouble

Whenver a pendrive is inserted to the system i get a message virus threat detected like that. What antivirus should i use to get rid of pendrive viruses? is there anything specific?

If you don't have an AV program then what is saying you have a virus.

Go to a store and by Norton or McAffee and install it.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Is there a reliable antivirus program? Some av detect viruses and some do not. How to stay secure?

Avast.com and dl the free home edition. Let it run a boot scan. I wouldn't norton or mcaffee a dime

on the road again!!
