Comment:

I got a virus which has made its own secret account, which I have tried hacking into - Username: Admininstrator, Password: changes after you guess it correctly so that you cannot get into its account, it was virus and then changed itself to microsoft, but I got onto its account in safe mode and deleted all its files - crippled it - The account itself cannot be deleted. I had to make myself a new account as the old ones had not TURN OFF COMPUTER button on the start menu. But it has also deleted system restore and pinball. I have tried copying files from other PC to get it back but does not work. The secret account is hidden normally and I only found out about it in safe mode. It is really cleaver and has done things like say that i am not the computer admininstator when i use dos to find out stuff about it. The run button had also gone missing but got it back with new accounts - not sure what to do...

Try running the tool at this link to see if it will find and remove the virus. http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.nimda.a@mm.html

"The secret account is hidden normally and I only found out about it in safe mode" Is this account indeed Admininstrator? Or Administrator?

That's not a "Secret" account. It's the built-in default Windows Administrator account. It's supposed to be there and accessible through Safe Mode. You can't delete that profile.
