When I run Adaware, there is only one virus left over that I can't remove. When I try to remove it, the computer just freezes. I tried running Adaware in safe mode, but it doesn't detect it that way. I tried just deleting the file from its spot in the folder on the hard drive, but there aren't any files of that name in the folder. Any suggestions?

Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong. Ad-Aware, isn't a antivirus program, right. With that said/asked. What is this virus? {name & files, ect.} Do you have a true antivirus program, on your computer? Also, is it updated? If you don't have such a program. Have you tried an online scan anywhere? {e.g. Panda Software ActiveScan}

Hi CrazyOne,
Yes, you're right, it's not a virus then, but there is one file in adaware that I can't remove, it classifies it as malware. Under the 'comment' section, it says 'CSI Match'. The file is called DYWUHECU.exe. Whatever it is, I can't delete it, my computer just freezes when I try to.

Do you have Lavasoft's VX2 cleaner add on installed? Some people have used it successfully to get rid of CSI Match. You can get it at: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/addons/vx2cleaner.shtml

Have you tried SpyBot? If you have and it did not work I would go to http://spywarewarrior.com/ and try using hijackthis. Post your log at their forum as you will get a faster response there.
