Thank you in advance...this could solve everything.
I've scanned with various good scanner programs, repalced AVG with McAfee, but still a recent slowness problem, online. It takes 5 times longer wait for websites, even google is a problem too.In a response on another post, "JackG" seems like he could be talking about problem But I have failed to find my TCP/IP properties to look, on my XP...perhaps because I have DSL(?)
JackG said: "In your network adapter TCP/IP Properties, check the DNS Configuration and make sure some sort of Network Accelerator software has not setup alternate DNS servers on your system. If anything is in these fields, make sure they are your ISP's DNS servers.
Best blank so your router handles it.
An ADware tracking DNS server that is overloaded and outside of your ISP's network will be slow and often overloaded and DNS requests can often get lost and cause the
type of problems you are seeing.
Spyware/ADware removal programs or you may have removed the actual ADware program, but the DNS server setting might remain."Is there a way to see, that I am being detoured to another (Domain name System) DNS before I finally go to the right one.
(sometimes the connection does not even work...maybe on PM times only...(never happened before). Please help, with what you know.

I found this and did it...and saw that no DNS Servers are there, where they should be listed...so i guess my theory and question is N/A.
To disable those components, go to windows explorer/control panel/network connections/local area connection,click/
properties/highlight internet protocol/properties/advanced, then select DNS and WINS and edit from there.
