Virus removal from Firefox Browser

Specs: Windows XP
My browser on Firefox keeps redirecting me. I found that removing Firefox from my computer completely is the only way to remove the virus. The virus is permanently bonded to that Firefox program and all the malware removal software won't get rid of it. I tried to remove the virus from the registry, even in the add/remove format of my control panel, and even using specifically made virus removal software. No go. None of that worked. What dawned on me was that the virus was only in the Firefox program. I checked the Explorer program and it wasn't there. that meant that the virus wasn't in the entire computer completely, only in the Firefox program. So I unloaded the program from my computer completely and reloaded it again and just like that the virus was gone. That is your solution people; use it well.

You're going to have to explain this one - are you suggesting the firefox binary is infected? If so, I'd check the source, you should ideally only download from trusted repositories, such as:

Looks like adamsdrew3 is giving us instructions on what to do if you have redirections when using FireFox.

The solution posted to solve the problem is:
"...unloaded the program from my computer completely and reloaded it again and just like that the virus was gone. That is your solution people; use it well."

Voila!!!
