My dad has a problem w/ the virus VBS.Redlof.A Not sure his version of XP or his CPU speed, fairly certain on the RAM. He has Norton AV 2003 installed, which detects the virus but can't repair it. The virus is causing pop-ups out the a**. He has followed instructions for fixing the registry, but not all the keys symantec said needed to be edited/removed existed. The problem has been mostly resolved, but not totally. Pop-ups still appear, even when offline, but not nearly at the rate they were before. In addition, his CPU is tied up 99% most of the time w/ .exe files running that are located in subdirectories of the windows folder. Norton no longer finds the virus, not sure if he deleted it or what. Anyone have any ideas??
