Hey all...i encountered quite a problem a few days ago....i was recently a kazaa user and had music in a shared folder. I had tried to burn some songs to cd and when the disc was finished i started to have the problems....it seemed to attack my drivers first....sound, keyboard...etc. then i would get a dos prompt scrolling down all by itself with a line of happy-faces....and an error box would pop up saying "bad image" not a win32 dll....etc....then i lost all access to anything on my pc.....nothing would open...also got a kbd.exe pop up....any help identifing this virus or bug would be greatly appreciated...thanks all..

hi cd,
if you can try going into safe mode and do a file search: ska.exe, ska.dll, wsock32.ska, wink.exe wink.dll or *.wink: if any of these come up you may have the happy99 worm or the klez virus.
hope this helps,
murve
