i have a virus on my pc, i tried getting rid of it last night but it didnt work. i was told to start it in safe mode and remove the virus that way, but when i try to log on in safe mode, it loads for about 10 secs then logs me off, so i cant even run all the scans. ive tried all the different ways to get onto my start page but it wont work please help. thanks

Thanks for the help, but i'm using my little notepad thingy to get online at the mo, so im not sure how to do all that on my pc as i cant log onto my account to get online. sorry im a bit daft when it comes to computers, my other half deals with all the pc stuff, hes working away at the mo, and ive messed up his pc' hes gonna go mad lol.

Why don't you try to install the hard disk as a Slave to the other PC with an Anti virus. Then scan it with that PC then return it to your original PC then check if it remove it. If the OS been corrupted do the the first step to retrieve data. But before you get those data Scan them first okay
