There is a virus on my computer, it closes antivirus/firewall processes such as smc.exe, navapsvc.exe
it closes any anti-virus that i open. but if it doesn't notice sometimes i can pull a scan off, but it is not found i have used web-based housecall, norton antivirus 2003 pro, norton antivirus corporate edition. this is only when the virus doesn't see that i'm running it but it usually closes everything AV-related
these are just 2 of many that disable av and fw http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.delf.html http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/avkiller.trojan.html try running trojan remover http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/download.html
