Hi all;

For the last few weeks when my PC comes out of hibernation I get a warning from Avast that it has found a virus. The usual suggested action is to put it in the chest. I've copied part of the Avast log file below. Can anyone tell me what's going on and what I can do to stop this? I keep my a/v software and firewall up to date and ran Housecall last weekend with no viruses found.

You may want to scan in safe mode and see if that clears things up for you. I would even d/l stinger and try that in safe mode also.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I disabled the System restore and rebooted in Safe Mode. From there I did a scan and everything looks okay now.
