Virus is rearranging my keys on keyboard

October 9, 2010 at 10:48:58
Specs: Windows 7

The keys on my keyboard keep changing on my laptop, i think it is a virus as i have re-installed windows 7 and the problem didn't solve ( however i had to do this to disable my password because it wouldn't type correctly).
It is letting my type correctly now but if i try to use word or note pad etc i then have no l key and it is not under any of the other keys. any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Kay

I'm having the same issue with my VAIO laptop running XP... did you receive any answers on this problem, or perhaps solve it?
Thanks

I know that a long time ago, 9 or 10 years there was a little known keyboard virus. What it does is it changes the language settings about every 10 seconds so if you pressed a button such as "t" it may come out as a "t" if you press "t" again it may come out as a ">". Nasty little thing since typing is a huge part of taking care of a virus and the keyboard is a huge aspect also. I have never seen a fix for it, and I know it was not well known nor was it a huge virus like the ILOVEYOU virus or anything, but i have heard and read in forums of people with the problem.
