Comment:

I'm trying to clean up my kids computer and believe I have some viruses that I can't get rid of.

I'm fully patched up with Windows and IE. I'm running NAV and Zerospyware and ZeroAds.

I've tried disabling these in MSCONFIG but they just keep reappearing.

The suspects are:

AhoG.exe
sovr.exe
Fsm6BY.exe

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ray

Try the 30-day trial of NOD32

A good free AntiVirus is AVG 6.0

You should try using Spybot Search & Destroy and SpywareBlaster instead of that other stuff as well.

Google, Yahoo & everyone else these days have nice free toolbars to block popup ads.

If you must format the drive and reinstall Windows to get rid of the bugs, install a good Firewall like Sygate and use it!

You may have to reboot into Safe Mode, do a Search for the virus-infected files, and then delete them when you find them.
