Virus infected PC without Antivirus previously installed.

Specs: Win XP
My computer is infected with hell lot of virus.It doesn't have an antivirus.Control Panel is disabled,there are .exe files for every folder.I need to take out some softwares which are kept as backup.When I take them with flash drive and try to install them in other system I cannot copy all the files of the software so software is not getting installed in a new system.Please guide me how to take out the virus from my pc or atleast take out my required softwares.My OS is Win XP.

Boot safe mode, run, rkill, then tdsskiller, combofix, superantispyware, malwarebytes, then Bitdefender free.

If you want to get your own stuff off first then best create a Linux Live CD on another computer and boot to that. As Windows will not be running then it is likely that you will be able to drag and drop your files onto a flash drive. Your CD/DVD drive will need to be ahead of the HD in BIOS for the computer to see it when you boot up with it in the drive. When you remove the CD, Windows will still be as you last left it.
