Hi all,
I have yahoo mail address. For the last two days I have been receiving irrelevant mails which cause my yahoo mail capactiy to maximum. It seems to me that som kind of virus has effected me. I would appreciate if someone could guide me how to get rid off this problem.

You could block the addresses, but that's probably not going to help. You'll just get more from different addresses. Yahoo is aware of this virus and is working on stopping it.

I don't know about yahoo...( I don't use it) I use hotmail...but in hotmail you can set mail filters so you only recieve emails from your addy list(or safe list) using options...all the junk email in junk mail folder should get auto deleted by server couple times a week...look around in your yahoo acct for options like that... As lloyd33 said blocking likely wont really help because most of those addresses are spoofed and besides if yahoo is anything like hotmail....you have a limit as to how many addy's you can block. Most likely the sobig.f worm and few others runnin around like mad...it should slow down shortly as sobig stops spreading sept 10.....until the next one.... hope that helps
