Specs: Windows XP
I have Mcafee 2010 installed and Counter Spy V3 .Whenever i switch on my laptop ,counter spy detects numbers like "832452.exe" and "45406.exe" as trogans and blocks them but mcafee doesnt detect anything.
Everytime i restart it shows different number.Any info provided would be appreciated

They are almost certainly nasties of some sort, I haven't come
across too many cases where the numbers change though, so
for a start, check with MSCONFIG to see if any of these number
programs are listed in startup - if they are then remove their entry
and then delete the actual program. (CCleaner has a good facility
to help with this). If new numbers keep appearing then you need
to use a better program than McAfee - start with Malwarebytes &
see what it finds - there's probably a Trojan that's linked to the
new programs.

Everything looks normal in MSCONFIG . I always use CCcleaner and even installed few anti-spywares to remove the problems like counter spy , spy sweeper , super anti spyware and some more that i found useless and uninstalled. Haven't tried Malwarebytes , will download it.
I keep finding the virus {with numbers} in my Temp folder and keeps deleting it,but still it comes back after a restart.
Thanks for the help !!!
