HI all I bet this is probably a routine thing for you all but right now I have the vbs.sorry.c virus about 5 times on my computer located in my system restore. I have symantec antivirus corporate edition and it will quarantine the virus but it won't "kill" it. Does anyone know how to get rid of this virus and also I have another virus:
Scan type: Manual Scan
Event: Virus Found!
Virus name: Trojan Horse
File: C:\WINDOWS\system32\screg.exe
Location: C:\WINDOWS\system32
it says that it cannot clean it and it cannot quarantine it. Does anyone know how to get rid of this one as well. Thanks to everyone.
Bartiks

Go here and read the removal instructions...

hi bartiks,
disable system restore, get your latest virus defs, reboot to safe mode, scan with your av, delete all the files, associated with trojan, clean out your cache, temp files, cookies directory, history directory, do a scan disk, and defrag if possible, reboot into regular mode, re enable your system restore.
all the best,
murve
