I received an email last week from someone who evidently had a virus. Since then I have received at least 8 emails per day that are files of 120K+ (I'm assuming viruses). Although I haven't opened these emails, how can I stop them? I've run our Symantec/virus software on that had no affect....
I am receiving them in an email address that I rarely even get spam because I only use it for eBay correspondence.

The only thing you can do is set up a filter/block for the actual sender... Go into the header information and identify the machine from where the e-mails originate. Set your filter or block to include that machine name.

for the time being, if your email account is pop3 then get a copy of WS POP 2002 ... it doesn't install , just extracts .. and delete the trash off the server directly .. no need for scannner etc and no risk .. i won't advise you to be downloading potentially infected mails into any e-mail client irrelevant of security settings
