{am a stupid newbie} but here goes my question.can someone download trojan horse or viruses safely and attach with email? can Quarantined viruses be used to sent to someone else? i know this is relly a dumb question but i need to know,so plz help me.

Viruses & Trojans need to be activated before they install/run - just downloading the attachment will not cause this - you have to physically launch it, usually by opening the attachment or by clicking on a hot-spot on an HTML mail. Quarantined items are not accessible directly - they have to be un-quarantined & then run/forwarded. Having said that, virus writers are always trying to find new ways to get recipients to run their malware so even thinking about having a nasty attachment hanging around on your system is asking for trouble - it only takes one accidental click of the mouse....

Oh boy, I'm not sure about this post....seems to give info to people trying to intentionally mess up another's pc.
