Right now, there is a virus in my laptop. It won't let me open up any anti virus programs that I have in there. Also, it won't let me install any new ones. I used a flash drive to put SUPERAntispywarePro, HiJackThis, and Malwarebytes into the laptop but none of it can be opened. I also put the installation files in the laptop, I can only install SUPERAntispywarePro but i cant open it. I can also install Malwarebytes and it will open, but it'll close right when I start scanning for viruses. I also have ATF-Cleaner but that doesn't seem to kill the virus.

So far, my friend tried fixing it but he cannot use system restore, task manager or regedit.exe. He also told me to turn off my network connection, I don't know why.

If anyone know the problem, please help.

Have you tried restarting in safe mode & running Superantispyware & Malwarebytes?

Sure, I'll try to explain as how I remember.

First my friend put SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, and HiJackThis onto a flash drive and gave it to me. He only put the install files for me to install the programs into my computer. The virus prevented me from installing anything so I thought that I couldn't do anything anymore but to reformat my laptop. While using my windows xp cd to reformat my laptop, I saw that I can repair the files instead so I tried that. When I finished, I was able to get SUPERAntiSpyware to run and clear the virus out.
