So, wireless network was working fine. But without any change of settings or anything, I can no longer find my wireless network on my laptop. My friends similar machine picks it up fine. I've checked all the connection/wireless card settings and everything is pretty much default/how i had it working before. sound like a virus to anyone? I cant seem to find much info online. I guess i don't know the right sites to search.

Just curious are you using windows xp wireless manager to determine that you cannot see the wireless signal if so make sure under advance setting wireless network there is a check mark on use windows to configure my network... last resort reinstall drivers
