Virus blocking antivirus/malwarebytes

December 8, 2010 at 18:02:26
Specs: Windows Vista
Hey, I've got a virus or a number of viruses that is/are blocking me from accessing nearly any website that is related to malwarebytes or any other antivirus. When I first got it all it did was redirect my google searches to random websites. Now it is redirecting me to the "internet explorer cannot display the website"I page. It has also changed the look of my windows desktop. It slightly changed how my start button looks and my browser (windows explorer) looks like a different version. That aspect comes and goes but my inability to access or download malwarebytes or any other antivirus software is unwavering. Any suggestions?

You have to outsmart the virus. It won't let you go to so you download it from somewhere else.

There are three places on that site alone.

You could also go to a non-infected PC and download the SUPERAntiSpyware portable scanner onto a USB drive and use it to clean your computer. If the infection is redirecting from anti-virus and anti-spyware websites, it may also block the exe file needed to install, or it may also block the software's ability to obtain updates. The SUPERAntiSpyware portable will eliminate each of these concerns.

HI dear,
first you boot your windows in Safe Mode & after that install Either "spyware search & destroy" or any malware remover. & scan your PC in safe mode. Its better if your antivirus or the tool you are using is updated. Hope your PC get well soon. Ba bye...
