virus and popups

well i just got a virus and it keeps giving me all kinds of popups. does anyone know of a way to fix this?

you probably have an adware, not virus. i suggesst you to install some antispyware to get rid of it. if you don't use any and need an advice which one to choose, take a look at anti-spyware comparison.

well i've had ad-aware and spybot installed since day-one and since i got the virus i've installed spyware blaster. that does give me a good idea to do a test on both spybot and ad-aware but last time i did it i got nothing. i also have avg and i ran a test using that and it's database SUCKS compared to kaspersky or it's way different cuz avg found nothing and kaspersky found like 5 different things. anyway, thanks for the advice. i'll try doing a buncha tests again and see what i get... probably nothing as usualy :(
