I have the Virus Alert message in my taskbar, and keep getting this error message about my Antivirus software.
Windows Defender labeled it Trojan and Adware.

My Task Manager and control panel disabled, I have to use a backdoor to access the C Drive, My start menue has been wiped out, and Windows Explorer goes to a odd website.

I have run Windows Defender, AVG, CCleaner, and SUPERAntiSpyware. What else can I do?

I had the same problem, heres my advice.

1) Download HiJackThis and save log and put on forum so an expert can tell you whats wrong with your computer and how to fix it.

2) Reformat your computer...(which is what I did). Do this especially if your not good with computers. You will lose all data (programs, music, etc.), which is the downside but it took me 40 minutes to do that and my computer is good as new. Just gotta download the programs again.

So good luck..

Look at the related posts in this thread. If you run Hijack This, DO NOT post the log until someone asks for it. To do so without a request is against the rules of the site, your post will be deleted.

IF you feel your only choice is to reformat, you don't have to lose any data. Backup the data first. THEN, reinstall.

Life's more painless for the brainless.

I have read all the former posts, and followed all the provided steps. I have run Windows Defender, AVG, CCleaner, SUPERAntiSpyware, UniBlue, MBAM, and HiJackThis.

I have saved all the logs so that they may be readly accessable for myself, but will not post until requested to do so.
