I was having trouble with the Virus Alert in the task bar, it had also hidden the Control Panel and messed up the Display Panel. Just trying to fix this for the daughter of a friend. I read a post in here giving advice, and followed their steps. I ran Malawarebytes and Superantispy. WOW! WHat a huge difference! Virus alert in task bar is gone, control panel is back and Display Properties is fixed! I think we are fixed! Would some kind soul mind looking at my new log from "Hijack This" and letting me know if there is anything else I should do before I send it back to college with her, she is 3 hours away. THANKS!
