hi guys, i found this program in my computer: Viewpoint manager...IS it spyware..do i really need it? or should i just delete it? what do u think?

That crap came pre-installed on my new Dell 4700. I don't know exactly what it is, but I think it allows for sharing files between computers.... somebody correct me if I'm wrong about that as I'm not positive. I deleted all of it off my pc; but I do not believe it is any type of spyware crud though; just unnecessary resource hogging stuff. Perhaps a google search would pull up info about it.

It is installed with AOL and will be reinstalled if you remove it on a restart. Otherwise you can remove it with add/remove programs.
