Comment:
Norton Antivirus detected a VerifierBug.class trojan which I cannot send to SARC for unknown reasons. I found these after a downloaded a file from www.fileplanet.com. I have quarantined Verifier.class and am wondering what to do next.

You can find and quarantine the .zip file and .idx file that has the same exact name. The only way to delete the .class file is in safe mode.

> I think I have the same thing as found by Symantec but I'm so green I don't even know how to quarantine it. Plus, I can't even find the thing in my Temp Internet Files using Start>explore, etc. After looking for it yesterday I received an email with the subject: Did you Find the File? I didn't open it. And isn't Safe Mode a country in AnArtica? It keeps changing my Home Page to Global Finder as discussed in Forum 6384. And the system is looking for a WinINI file on startup that it cannot find. Did install the windows patches yesterday and downloaded Moosoft Trojan Finder which did not find it. It does not appear to be on their list. Has really affected my keyboarding and mouse scrolling capabilities on another forum. I'm running Windows 98 - the Compaq version and IE 5.5. Anyone have the patience to help this newbie?
