Norton can't clean approx 200 .exe files (i.e.DLLHOST.exe, winhlp.exe, etc). My computer's performance is terrible - both surfing the web and when working locally. All the info I've read on Valla says it is not harmful - but I have definitely noticed an impact? Could I have another virus - Norton virus list is up to date, and nothing else is being found when cleaning. How can I completely get rid of this thing? They say the DOS script to clean files is not for XP. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Todd, go to http://www.norman.com/virus_info/w32_valla_2048.shtml and see what they have offer. There is a link to their removal tool on the page. Good luck and try to be careful using your peer to peer sharing program in the future!
