Not having used it on my computer before I thought I would give TDS a go. All of a sudden my XP security center has said I have no AV protection but my AVG seems to be working fine....however, I digress. It would seem that TDS-3 is no longer. I followed the link provided in this forum in security tools and it says that it is no longer available.
I used this once before on a mates computer and thought it was pretty good at the time.
I hope this isn't the way of all AV programs.D4Dog

The Windows Security center is sh8t, just turn off the AV monitoring portion. If you're on AVG use new ver 7.0 (in case you didn't know)- although I don't recommend free AV.
YEAH TDS-3 was great, can't believe they're done (or so it seems) with anti-trojan - they were one of the best - I think they're prices were too high though at $50 a crack. You will need more than AVG though, you could try Ewido security Suite 3.5 as a secondary tool (also free as a secondary anti-trojan, anti-malware tool) http://www.ewido.net/en/
Want the BEST AV? try ESET's NOD32.

Found out that if I went into Services and restarted the two AVG procedures that it fixed the problem with the security center. Also restarted a couple of others and cleared up a lot of warnings and errors in my event logs etc. It appears to be a WMI problem.
